The Jungfrau region around Interlaken includes 3 ski areas connected by a free ski bus. With 110 km of ski runs, the Kleine Scheidegg-Männlichen area is the biggest and one of the most popular in Switzerland. Every year in January the famous Lauberhorn ski race takes place in Wengen. Grindelwald-First is great for snow boarders and also features the longest toboggan track in the world. Situated between 1650 and 3000 metres above sea level, Mürren-Schilthorn is the highest-situated ski resort in the Bernese Oberland and offers optimal snow conditions until spring. Lauterbrunnen enchants with its impressive rock faces and waterfalls. During summer, the region also offers opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, climbing, river rafting, and bungee jumping.
